The Chief Guest Mr Harmalkar along with the Principal and other teachers

Republic Day was celebrated in Don Bosco High School & Junior College, Oros with great zeal, patriotic zest & fervor on January 26, 2018. The Chief Guest for the occasion, Mr. Gopal Harmalkar unfurled the national flag as the entire school sang the national anthem with great pride.

This was followed by a cultural programme which included patriotic song, a skit entitled ‘Let’s know our Constitution’, highlighting the importance of the Indian Constitution and a group dance performance. In his address, the Chief Guest urged the students to instill a feeling of patriotism by being dutiful and conscious towards their assigned roles in every sphere of life.

The students of standard seventh gave a spectacular performance at Police Parade ground, Oros in the Republic Day Parade. The school has been participating in this parade for the last six years and has constantly been lauded for its performance.
