MBBS distributing food to 145 in North Goa

Margaret Bosco Bal Sadan (MBBS) joined the like minded people and groups in the rescue work of distributing food packets to the needy families and individuals of the Corona crisis lockdown in Mapusa, Moira, Canca-Tivim, Paliem, Ucassaim and Nerul from March 29, 2020 onwards.

MBBS, a boy’s home for marginalized in the northern part of the Goa state of the Salesian province of Panjim in collaboration with individuals and groups reached out to 145 families with provisions. Each of the 145 packets contained Rice, dal, tea powder, oil, onions, potatoes, sugar, bitten rice, coconuts, bathing and washing soaps.

The Salesians and boys of MBBS personally putting their trust in the promise of our Blessed Mother, identified and reached out to the remotest parts of their neighbourhood to help the poor who had no food and provisions as a result of the untimely lock down announced by the government.

The Salesian house in collaboration with likeminded people and groups, made arrangements to provide hot cooked meals and provisions to over 400 people on a daily basis. omega replica watches
