Dr Khasawneh addressing the DBCE students about Binghamton University

Don Bosco College of Engineering, Goa (DBCE) training and placement cell, organized a Webinar on Graduate Studies at Binghamton University for the students of DBCE on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 6.00 pm via the virtual platform Zoom.

Professor, Chair of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering, Dr Mohammad Khasawneh, also the associate director at the Watson Institute for Systems Excellence (WISE), presenting an overview of Binghamton University said, the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science is a top-ranked engineering and computer science education having an exceptional faculty members in upstate New York. He presented a broad overview of student life at Binghamton where they are nurtured with broad-based skills and the entrepreneurial spirit to succeed in fields ranging from mechanical engineering to hospital operations and more. He spoke at length about the department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering (SSIE). A Q&A session was also held during which the students interacted with Dr Khasawneh, Graduate Administrative Assistant, Lindsay Buchta and Assistant to the Chair, Erin Hornbeck.

Principal, Dr Neena Panandikar thanked the Binghamton team for the session. DBCE Training and Placement Officer, Avila Naik extended her gratitude to Dean, Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science, Binghamton University, Professor Krishnaswami “Hari” Srihari and Director of WISE for collaborating with DBCE. She also thanked Dr Mohammad Khasawneh.
