Poster release of Talking Talukas at DBCA Sulcorna Goa

Don Bosco College of Agriculture (DBCA) Sulcorna, Goa together with Growth and Development Platfrom (GDP) Foundation successfully launched, Talking Talukas on February 19, 2021.

Progressive farmer and Awardee, Government of Goa, Pandurang Patil, was the chief guest on the occasion and shared his success stories in agriculture and motivated students for entrepreneurship and self-employment.

Students participated in the talking talukas even in four competitions namely, Talkathon, Thinker's Lounge, Vocal for Local and Lost in By Lane all events focused on agriculture, healthcare and education.

Managing Trustee, GDP foundation, Dr. Rakesh Kawale welcomed the gathering. Kishore Shah briefed students about the Talking Talukas initiative which is largely aimed at youth and students. GDP Trustee, Ameya Salatry, addressed the audience to focus on growth and development of students suggesting the event as a golden opportunity for students to take first step into the world of social entrepreneurship to transform themselves and their talukas. Principal DBCA, Dr. Suresh Kunkalikar, encouraged students to participate in the event to express their talent. He congratulated GDP Foundation for their commendable work for the development of Goa in just 2 years. Principal, Government College of Arts Science, Commerce, Quepem Dr. Joydeep Bhattacharjee, also spoke on focusing on entrepreneurship development.

GDP, a trust promoted by professionals with an impeccable track record and expertise in branding backed by an Executive Parivartan Board comprising industry stalwarts and senior bureaucrats, has built indigenous models for making social systems work for the welfare of the community.

A poster was inaugurated on the occasion by Coordinator, Rakesh Kawale and faculty members Dr. Shreyas Jadhav, Sagar Palconda, Dr. Harshal Wadatkar, Dr. Shrinivas Sable, Dr. Haresh Agare and staff members.
