DBC Students Gather to Battle at Handball

Don Bosco College (DBC) Panaji, Sports Committee organised a 12-a-side modified handball Interclass Tournament on Friday, 22 April, 2022, as part of the Interclass Champions League Tournament that the students have been a part of since the start of the year.

The tournament began with a lot of excitement and apprehension, not only among the students but also among their individual mentors. The game was held on the football field, and the stage opposite it was packed with students cheering, music, warm-up sessions, motivational words from the mentors, and some easy-to-eat bites like refreshing lemonade, chicken rolls, and patties, which were arranged by the student body for the spectators.

The games for some opened the route to the trophy; for others, it was a lesson to be learnt. The TY BBA T&T class came in first, followed by the SY BAMC, while the FY BAMC and SY BBA came in third and fourth, respectively. The day ended with prize distribution ceremony. Third year BBA T&T bagged the tournament trophy.
