September 5 pictures on the occasion of teachers day and freshers day at DBCE Fatorda

The comperes Stella Tom and Noah Gracias welcomed the Management and Staff members and Prof. Sweta Morajkar , Department of Computer Engineering , rendered a beautiful medley of Konkani and Hindi songs on the teachers day. The Director Fr. Kinley D’Cruz , Rector Fr. Paul D’Sousa, Principal Dr. Neena S. P. Panandikar, Registrar Dr. Kala Nayak and the Heads of Departments together, cut the cake, which was then distributed to all the staff members present on the occasion.

Dr. Panandikar spoke on the occasion and praised the efforts and enthusiasm that the staff members continue to put in. A video of candid moments captured during SPACE 2017 was also presented by the Principal. Fr. D’Cruz encouraged the staff members and appreciated their efforts towards the institute followed by a beautiful video. Fr. D’Souza addressed the gathering and motivated the staff members to work together towards the vision of the institute. A beautiful medley of retro and new Bollywood tunes was presented by three first year mechanical students along with a Second Year Civil student. This was followed by the college dance group who gave a spectacular performance. The college band enthralled the audience with their beautiful music. “Mech Muse”, the First Year Mechanical Group, mesmerised all with beautiful harmony and rhythm.

Each staff member received a token of love and appreciation followed by luch hosted by the principal.

The Fresher’s party was also celebrated with fun and zeal on September 5. 2018. The Freshers were welcomed into the Don Bosco College of Engineering family by Fr. D’Cruz and Principal Dr. Panandikar as they spoke on the occasion and welcomed them.

Mellisa Fernandes belted out beautiful pop songs with her melodious voice. Saptak Banerjee also captivated the audience with his melodious voice. This was followed by the college dance group who gave a spectacular performance. The college band charmed the audience with their beautiful music.
The audience was kept engrossed for one and a half hour by performances of dance, music and games followed by an evening of music by DJ Jeremy. Freshers loved the welcome given to them and appreciated the whole-hearted efforts of their seniors.
