Aspirants of Panjim on a visit to Don Bosco Kelmbet in Karnataka

No sooner did the Ganesh Chaturti holidays began, the aspirants from Panjim left for Karnataka on 11 afternoon. It was a long journey and they reached Don Bosco Kelmbet in the night. The following morning the aspirants had an opportunity to interact with the boarders of Kelmbet. They were then taken for a house tour and shown the different works of the Salesians there. They were taken aback by the challenges that the Salesians faced and their ability to continue working under such circumstances. The aspirants left for Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shirva, an aspirantate for the boys of the Karnataka region. They were unable to meet the aspirants there as they had regular school. The following evening they swam in Don Bosco River and had a lot of fun. Staying two days in Shirva, the aspirants picked up a lot of things from the Salesians and at the same time had loads of fun. They returned to Panjim on September 13 with wonderful experiences and cherishing memories.
