Don Bosco College, Panjim, launched their marketing club "DB - MARK" on March 11, 2019 at the hands of Ashton Dias E Souza, in the presence of Manager Fr Joaquim Lobo and Principal Cedric Silveira.

The club involved members of different departments of the college such as students of Bachelors of Business Administration, Bachelors of Travel and Tourism and Department of BA Mass Communication.

In today’s world it is important to have good marketing strategies so as to create a good prospective customer. For launching up one’s brand it is very important to have a better plan so that the product is ultimately sold in the market for a better price.

The event began with a beautiful inaugural function followed by an intriguing talk by Ashton to help students understand business and business model canvas. He shared many of his personal experiences to motivate students to come up with initiatives to ensure the success of the club. Ashton also voiced that once a club is formed it also attracts a foundation to attract sponsors which leads to networking with different people. He quoted "Your net worth is equal to your network" since, networking is one of the fastest way to propel your business.

The event was concluded by a vote of thanks by Assistant Professor Gilbert Mendes, the head of the marketing club.
