As a part of an assignment, students of the second year BBA and the environment, Ecotiva club of Don Bosco College Panjim, organized a one day ‘Zadanchem Fest’ on March 9, 2019.

The fest was inaugurated by Fr Avin Carvalho and Cedric Silveira. They were welcomed with traditional drinks of ‘Kokum’ and ‘Niro’.
A display and sale of Medicinal plants were held to throw importance on natural remedies.

Kenan Vaz student of Second Year BSC, Dhempe college was invited to display his collection of specimens that were total 60 in number. This included a variety of insects and snakes too.

Famous Goan delicacies like raw mangoes, ‘mangade’, banana flower, sweet potatoes, cashews etc. were showcased.

The event concluded with an enthusiastic and mouthwatering interclass salad making competition. First year BBA T & T stood first and the runners up were First Year BBA.

The main motive of this event was to highlight the flora and fauna that are on the verge of extinction and to display some Goan Traditional food and plant products.
