An orientation programme on ‘Educating in a Salesian Environment’ for teachers was conducted and animated by Fr. Ralin De Souza, sdb and Fr. Jason Coelho, sdb at Don Bosco High School and Junior College, Oros on the June 8, 2019. Fr. Jonathan Ribeiro, sdb, Principal of Don Bosco Oros welcomed the teachers.

Fr. Ralin De Souza gave an input session beginning with an icebreaker activity. He spoke at length about the DB Way that is ‘Teaching with empathy and love'. He also explained the concepts of Salesian spirit, Preventive system, Pillars of the Preventive system and Family Spirit which are to be found in every Salesian institution in the world. Fr. Ralin emphasized on the elements like Educative Climate, Holistic approach and Individual attention.

The feedback session saw some interesting responses from teachers to the questions asked. The session was enlivened with team games and activities which kept the teachers interested. The day's program was truly enlightening and will helped the teachers to be more effective in their calling as 'Teachers'.
