August 12, 2019 was a red letter day in the history of Don Bosco Loutolim as for the first time a Marian Nite was organised for the youth here.

The Marian Nite was organised as a culmination to a whole month of events dedicated to Our Blessed Mother Mary that helped the community and the pre-novices to come closer to Mary. The theme for the month and the evening of marian nite was I am the Servant of the Lord. Around 50 youngsters from Loutolim and Fatorda together with the pre-novices too part in the Marian Nite which began at 5pm and ended at 7.15pm.

The participants were divided into four teams namely Fatima, Lourdes, Bandel and Knock. The evening began with the prayer service, lighting of the lamp by Frs. Simao, Mathias and Austin, and two youth representatives.

Rector Fr. Simao welcomed the young gathering and appealed to them to become warriors for Mary. He also drew a comparison between Esther and Mother Mary.

The Pre- Novices brought the evening to life with the action song, Chada. Lots of games and puzzles were conducted as part of the Marian nite to make know Mother Mary and help inculcate in the young a filial devotion to Her.
