Bengaluru based Makermatics technologies LLP, conducted a two day Drone workshop for the Don Bosco College, Panjim students of BCA (Bachelors of Computer Applications) recently.

The workshop was led by Gaurav Yadav, Chinmoyee Chowdhury, Asif Bankar and Akshay Ingle. The major highlights of the workshop were, manipulation of LED light bulbs using Arduino UNO, Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) and its implementation in drones and demonstrations of flying a drone.

During the workshop each team consisting of two students were given a set of equipment such as a Arduino UNO board, a circuit board, a motor, and many other little components to help the students to learn from experience.

At the end of the workshop the students were of the opinion that theory and practical was perfectly blended for easy learning and understanding of concepts. The students also found the workshop extremely helpful and informative. The students expressed that the workshop was a success as they gained knowledge, experience and a growing interest in understanding and using new technological development.
