Participants engaged in beach cleaning at Miramar

Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim Youth Club organized a beach cleanup drive on September 28, 2019 at Miramar Beach, Goa.

Students of Don Bosco College, Panjim together with the students of St. Xavier's college, Mapusa joined hands in this cleanliness drive. This cleanup drive was in association Don Bosco Green alliance, Don Bosco College and Cooperation of the City of Panjim (CCP).

The cleanup drive kick started with a session on waste management by CCP Gregory Jacques followed by a short speech by Fr Ralin D'souza.

DB college students of Physical Education and Social Work put up a street play to create awareness on keeping mother Earth clean and green.

The students under the guidance of their teachers worked in groups to collect and segregate waste from the Miramar Beach. The cleanup drive concluded with Asst. Prof. Glenda Mascarenhas proposing the vote of thanks. Gareth Vaz also spoke.

College staff members Alisha Dias, Gilbert Mendes, Nikita Chodankar Dhuri, Shantanu Arlekar and Ajith Gopi also participated in the clean up drive.
