DBCA Principal interacts with Narve Farmers

Principal Don Bosco College of Agriculture, Sulcorna (DBCA) Dr. Suresh Kunkalikar, visited Narve village and interacted with the members of the farming community together with Dr. Rakesh Kawale and students of DBCA enrolled under the Rural Agricultural Work Experience programme (RAWEP).

The farming community of Narve were very happy with the Agricultural Technology transferred to them by the students of DBCA under the Rural Agricultural Work Experience programme. The main focus of the visit was to spread the awareness about the information corner set up by students in village to pass on information on farming techniques and methods to the local farmers. The students also organized various skill development and training programme for the farmers.

Members of the farming community at Narve acknowledged the productive work of the students and requested Principal to keep station more such batches of students under the RAWEP programme. Dr. Kunkalikar also visited with the staff and students of DBCA the farm of Bhatye, a progressive farmer in the village.
